At Ozsteam we are Australian Certified Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors who will identify possible risks and assist with compliance of regulatory requirements and Australian Standards.
We are AICIP (Australian Institute for the Certification of Inspection Personnel) certified and members of AIES (Australasian Institute of Engineering Surveyors Inc) and AINDT (Australian Institute for Non-destructive Testing).
We hold a high risk work licence, a Type A Gas Work Licence and a Type B Gas Authorisation.
Pressure equipment experts
Ozsteam principal and owner, Ray Richardson, gained AICIP certification in 2012. After serving an apprenticeship in the industry and becoming a certified pressure welder Ray ran his own businesses in boiler and pressure vessel manufacturing, installation and servicing for over 25 years.
His knowledge and experience holds him in high esteem in the boiler and pressure vessel industry.
Ray is fully certified with the Australian Institute for the Certification of Inspection Personnel (AICIP), is a member of the Australasian Institute of Engineer Surveyors Inc (AIES) and the Australian Institute for Non-destructive Testing (AINDT) and is confined space certified.
We undertake in-service inspections, safety checks and certification of boilers and pressure vessels to AS/NZS 3788:2006.
Our services
We provide plant inspections and certification for all types of pressure equipment, including air receivers, sterilisers and autoclaves.
Specialist equipment, such as borescope cameras, infrared non-contact thermometers and UTT (ultra sonic thickness testers) are used when required.
We provide comprehensive reports, compliance certificates and photographs in accordance with AS3788 (R2017).
Our inspections incorporate the requirements of other relevant Australian Standards such as: AS1210:2010, AS3873:2001, AS3892:2001, AS2593:2021, AS4343:2014, AS3920:2015, AS1271:2003 (R 2016), AS4942:2001, AS1200:2000, AS2971:2007 and WH&S Act 2011.
